Smartlist Options not working for Fixed Asset

I have a client that is having an issue setting the default Smartlist Options on Fixed Assets in her GP2015. She went into the Fixed Asset Smartlist in the Smartlist Options window under System and changed the max number of records to 10,000. When we go back into the Smartlist and click on Fixed Assets it still reads 1,000. I have closed and opened GP but that did not fix it. I checked the ASIEXP81 table and it shows 10,000 in the max records field. It worked for the Book and Purchase Smartlists but not the Fixed Asset. I am not able to reproduce the issue but would like to get an idea of where I should look to fix it. I know I can set each favorite but was hoping to fix the main one.
