Hi, I accidently deleted the vat peiods so had to go back into HMRC and request them again, meaning the last quater. I received them and tried to create the VAT return but I keep getting this error . Please could someone advise what to do with it.

I'm not familiar with HMRC, but based on the error you're missing number series setup somewhere. When you create the vat return the system tries to assign it a number but there's no number series it can use. To fix, you need to assign the number series somewhere in the setup.

Could you debug the process to identify the location of the problem? You do not have a series configured with the name of VATRETURN.
