compatibility Level of MS Dynamics SL 2015 SYS database

We have an outsource dba looking into reasons why MS Dynamics SL 2015 CU1 is running slow on our new windows server 2012 R2 Standard and SQL Server 2014.  they suggests that we change the compatibility level of the sys to 120.

I read that for the CRM 2016 you don't want to set it higher than 110, and also the NAV versions.  I can't find anything on SL 2015 CU1.

The warning it gave for CRM 2016 setting higher than 110 is that the query optimizer estimates an incorrect number of records, which will result in poor performance.

Is there a preferred setting for Dynamics SL 2015 CU1?

I'm curious.  Did you leave your SQL 2014 databases set to compatibility 120?

When i run the database admin tools against the our 2015 cU1 databases,  it will change it back to 100.

    Hi REUser,

Unfortunately at this time it is not supported to be higher than 100 for SL 2015 (including CU1) databases. This may be changing in a future release.

100 is the default, but can it be set higher like 120?

Aloha, Page 8 from the Installation Guide for SL 2015 CU1 states the following: ...the system database and all associated application databases must exist within the same instance of SQL Server. Compatibility mode 100 is the default for new and upgraded Microsoft Dynamics SL databases.
