is there a way to prevent the users changing the GL description on an earlier G/L entry?

Stop Changing GL Descriptions

Hi, I think the easiest way is to use permission management to exclude the user's modification permissions.

If it is BC23, you can also try the following new feature.

Of course, this can also be customized and an error will be thrown when modifying, but it is not recommended.
