Full page URL is not rendering

Posted on by 110

We are trying to get the subscription center to work in PROD post-sandbox migration. The Full page URL renders well in Sandbox, but when we try to preview in PROD nothing populates.

In Sandbox, the Full page URL renders as expected:

Marketing Page Summary tab: https://www.screencast.com/t/pfxGs3GwfVL

Marketing Page full page URL link renders: https://www.screencast.com/t/ZLwAdrGHr

When the same steps are taken in PROD the Full Page URL does not render as expected:

Marketing Page Summary tab:https://www.screencast.com/t/5uKkGMLyL

Marketing page full page URL link does not render: https://www.screencast.com/t/j4pSbLrL4zL

There is no other distinction between the sandbox and production configurations, other than the marketing portal environments. Any suggestions for how we can resolve this issue?

    Hi Kyu:

This did work. I think the assumption is correct that when migrated from sandbox the plug-in did not trigger the association to the MSFT portal.

I am now able to render the full page URL of the subscription center successfully.

    Thank you for your help.

I did review this article, but I don't think it is the same as I am trying to just associate a marketing form to the MSFT portal, not configure a redirect URL.

Will it works if you create a new page in PROD?

It seems that when a marketing page is created in Marketing, a corresponding web page will be created by plug-in accordingly.

Now you just migrated marketing page data itself, however, due to there is no associated web page in Portal Management, so the page is not found.

Try to create a new web page and set its partial URL to the same as the marketing page partial URL, and its Page Template to Marketing Default Page Template. Then check whether your marketing page will be associated with the new web page automatically.

If it still doesn’t work, I recommend you to create a new subscription center in PROD instead.
