Migrate database from 8.2 to 9.1

Hello!

Just got on new job in IT company. There are exist production 8.2 instance and test 9.1 instance on another computer

Test instance already have modified scripts and views for new version and use SQL backup from july.

How the best to migrate new data (opportunities, orders) from 8.2 to 9.1 and be sure that:

1. Only sales data will migrate (scripts and views will stay as it already in test instance)

2. Data integrity will be 100%

    Hello,

    I'm not sure - do you want to use the existing 8.2 db in your 9.1 instance or do you want to migrate part of the data from 8.2 to 9.1?

    Hi,

    Yes, need to move existing 8.2 production DB in new instance but make sure that views and scripts from 9.1 stay untouched

    Hello,

    It's not possible to bring the data-only using OOB tools. You will have to develop a set of scripts to migrate the data. My recommendation is to use SSIS packages with KingsWaySoft adapters.
