Hello Everyone, I have a client who accidentally deleted a supplier from RMS 2.0 database. What is best way of restoring the supplier and confirming all items and other linkages are restored within the database?

Thanks for any suggestions offered.

You must insert deleted supplier with it previous id to keep supplier history

    SET IDENTITY_INSERT Supplier ON

    INSERT Supplier(ID,.., ...,) VALUES (Deleted_id, ,.., ...,)

    SET IDENTITY_INSERT Supplier OFF

You can get your deleted supplier.id from record deleted log Table

Thank you Ramy. Just to clarify..... these are SQL Query command you've provided? Where exactly can the deleted log table be found.

    Cheers

You can get your deleted supplier.id from record deleted log Table

For HQ --> HQRecordDeletedLog it will give you deleted Records from any table

    For Store --> RecordDeletedLog

    to insert deleted supplier

    SET IDENTITY_INSERT Supplier ON

    INSERT INTO Supplier

                            (ID, SupplierName, Code)

    VALUES        (Deleted_Supplier_ID,'SupplierName','SupplierCode')

    SET IDENTITY_INSERT Supplier OFF

"HQRecordDeletedLog" RMS Table contains all deleted records from HQ and "RecordDeletedLog" RMS Table contains all deleted records from Store

    Hi Ramy

I cannot find a log file related to HQRecordDeletedLog or RecordDeletedLog. I searched the server drives and the local computer. Can you provide the path or confirm the log file names?

    Thanks for your help.
