Document creation using word templates and CRM data

Hello,

I have a question regarding document templates and the new enhanced document creation functionality in Dynamics CRM Online 2016.

Our company would like the ability to create word documents, more specifically customer agreements, about our products/services that gets automatically filled with CRM-data along with legal texts about these products.

And in particular we would like it like this:

For example if a customer wants product A, our personnel should be able to choose to create a document from CRM (a customer agreement) that gets filled with the customer details and the legal text that is associated with product A.

Also, lets say for product A, if the customer wants a service B along with it, the document should also get a legal text/info about service B.

We investigated this functionality a few years back, and came to the conclusion that it was not really possible with the dynamics document creation functionality then.  At least not out of the box.

However, someone suggested to us that with the new Dynamics 2016 document creation abilities we could be able to get this functionality out of the box.

Can someone confirm if this is true or not. And I am talking specifically about the feature that if certain products/services and additional options is chosen in CRM, specific text for those specific options should appear in the documents.

Thanks in advance for any tips or guidelines,

Yes, now you can even show multiple relationship entity records in the word document. You just have to follow the below article and you should be able to generate one for you.
