Hi,
I hope you are all keeping well.
I have a client with a specific business case: they have multiple locations and they can fulfill a sales order from any of these locations. For example one location is in Europe, one is in the Far East.
If they decide to fulfill this order from Europe, the sales price will be for example 10 euro per pcs.
If instead they decide to fulfill the order from their location in the far east the sales price will be 8 euro.
Is this achievable with out-of-the box Business Central?
Are there any workaorunds?
Thank you all for any reply
We have a similar need, with a Cost+ pricing model based on location. If we set the Price as Cost+ a profit margin at the Item level, will that logic apply at the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) level? We do have a unique cost for an item at each Location using the SKU. Will this flow into a unique price per Location?
Thank you Inge!
Thank you Josh!
Just to add to what Josh already responded.
The price calculation in BC is recently changed to make it easier to implement custom specific price calculation models.
So it should not be very hard to implement a customization that calculate the price in the way that you request.
Here is some documentation from Microsoft around the Principe of extending the price calculation:
docs.microsoft.com/.../devenv-extending-best-price-calculations
Out of the box you would have to manage it based on customer price groups. Manually changing based on the alteration. For a slicker process you should look at a customisation.
