I want to sync outlook with the custom activity but I learned that I can't sync outlook with the custom activity.
So other way is when activity is created, create task in background and sync task to outlook. But the problem is the task also appears on activity pane so basically it just shows activity created and task created after that in social pane.
How to avoid this?

I don't think there is an easy way to do that. Theoretically you can mark that generated task somehow (using custom attribute or so) and then develop a plugin that will handle RetrieveMultiple message called from Activity Pane and add a filter that will remove those autogenereated tasks.
