RE: Initialize fields value from the previous record when clicking on new button

    Hi,

There is no standard/ sup[ported way to do this other than customizing/ changing how you are creating the Estimation records. The possible workarounds are -

    1) Use a uick create form for estimation.

    2) Hide the new button for the estimation and instead add a custom button in opportunity command bar to add new estimation. Within the button, pass the opportunity as the parameter.

    Hope this helps.
