Hello All,

We're planning to use Devops to manage the project activities of our D365 F&O implementation. Can anyone throw some light on whats the suitable Devops license to be purchased to manage a D365 F&O implementation using Devops? We do not have plans to do the automation testing as part of this project.

Azure DevOps Services Pricing | Microsoft Azure

I went through the above pricing information, but clueless on what needs to be recommended for the customer in terms of purchasing a license. Let me know if you need any additional information to be to advice on this.

Appreciate your response.

Regards,

Kumar

    docs.microsoft.com/.../add-organization-users

The following types of users can join your organization for free:

Five users who get Basic features, such as version control, tools for Agile, Java, build, release, and more
Unlimited users who get Stakeholder features, such as working with your backlog, work items, and queries
Unlimited Visual Studio subscribers who also get Basic features. More features, such as Azure Test Plans, can be assigned to users by access level, Basic + Test Plans.

Thank you Nikolaos for your response. Can you also tell me if someone who just needs to view the tasks\workitems would also need the license?

You can just start with the basic. You get 5 free users. All your developers most likely have Visual Studio subscription and this also grants them the needed access rights to ADO.

You can get quite far without purchasing any additional ADO licenses.
