I am converting from HZN manufacturing to GP 10  manufacturing.  I am also using actual costing method.  I have entered a MO and one of my components has not been fully issued.  When I receive the MO I am not flagged to post a pending pick and when I close the MO I do not receive the message that I have a pending pick.  Have I missed a setup somewhere?  I would think that I would receive a warning that I have not issued all material to WIP

    If you check the Manufacturing Order Preference Defaults window (Tools | Setup | Manufacturing | System Defaults | Manufacturing Orders), you will see a host of options in the "MO Receipt and Close Options"  section that you can check.  

    Two options that might help you here are "Display Low Component Issued Warning" and/or "Display Unused Allocated Material Warning".

    If you go to system preferences for Manufacturing under Manufacturing Order, there are many warnings at the bottom of the window.    If using actual costing, it is important to make sure any issues prior to receiving as it will result in incorrect costs.   In the MO Receipt window, it does show items issued at the bottom of the window.
