Magento & POS Integration

Hello

We currently accept orders through our magento basket on our website.  We then print these orders off and manually input them into POS.  We are looking at integration but ideally we want the order to go onto POS and print off as a picking note without any intervention.  Is this possible? any advise very welcome.

    Hi,

    As far as I understand this, you want something automated process to import the stuff into your POS. I already some a similar work for a client and achieved using webservice. The magento webservice will be used to fetch the order and a plug-in/software will insert the data in to RMS database.

    As far as the possibility is concerned, yes it is possible.

    Dear Andrew,

    Firstly I want to make sure that it is absolutely possible to download order from Magento and push them into any POS system you want.

    We know that you do not want unify order fulfillment process so everybody in your team just have to work with POS backend only.

    We enabled the processes you described above successfully for some clients in US, Netherlands and Vietnam with different POS systems.

    It helps synchronize catalog data includes product information, product images, product meta data (for SEO), stock.

    It also helps synchronize orders, customers data between Magento & POS.

    It helps notify business owner for any changes in the system so they really always know how business running without having to ask any question to their staff.
