Running Application Server without being logged in

Posted on by 65

Is it possible to have an Application Server run even when the user who opened it logs off? It would be incredibly frustrating to have to remote in to the server and manually start it each time we need to use it.

That's all kinds of exciting. Oh well. Thank you!

We have run across this issue many times with clients and to date (AFAIK) it takes a foreground session and cannot be run as a service.

We had clients use screen macro utilities as a work-around but it's still a dated and clunky approach.
