Setup Development Environment for D365 F&O using Visual Studio

Hi,
 
I am a begenier in D365. I am trying to set up a development environment using Visual Studio 2019 / 2022. I am trying everything i know but i am not able to do that. I installed the PowerApps extension, but I was not able to see a D365 Project type when I tried to create a new project.
 
Can anybody help me to configure the development environment using Visual Studio? How to connect with D365 inorder to access the AOT?

    Setting up F&O development environment is going to possible in future, but it's not the case at the moment. You must use a pre-installed VM, which you can either deploy from LCS to Azure (so-called cloud-hosted environment) or download a .vhd file from LCS and create a Hyper-V virtual machine locally.
