Hi

I have a CRM Portal form. On submitting the form an entry is created in a custom entity. This custom entity has a field called res_id which gets incremented on every new insertion. Now I want to bring that number (res_id field in the custom entity) to be shown to the user as part of the success message. Something like this what I want to show' Your request (res_id: 5434) has been submitted successfully. Right now it gives the default success message.

Thanks for all your responses

    Hello

To achieve this we have several options, please find few options below.

    Option:1

If you are using portal entity form, on success setting >> on success >> Redirect >> web page >> select new web page and append record ID as a Query string to other web page >> in page template map new web template and write liquid code to fetch and show your res_id field data along with custom success message.

    Option:2

If you are rendering portal entity form using web template, on success setting >> on success >> Redirect >> web page >> select same web page (what ever is loaded ) by appending record ID , if record ID is exists in query string by using liquid code fetch res_id field value and append it to your custom success message DIV.

    Option:3

If you are using portal entity form, on success setting >> on success >> Redirect >> web page >>select new web page and append attribute value (res_id) as a query string and in next web page you can fetch that value from query string and append it to custom success message DIV.

    Thanks

    James

    I am following Option:3

I am able to get the res_is into the query string. I am able to see it in portal page custom javascript with an alert. How do I pass this as a variable to my HTML text of the new Page. ?

    Thks
