if you are planing to run your VM's on Hyper V use below document

    mbs2.microsoft.com/fileexchange

you need Partner Source or Customer Source access to download this document .

if you plan to run on Virtual Box then use the Example IP's on above post , which you mentioned , but double check that IP's not conflict with your current environments IP's

Better you get help from your network /Server Admin , if you dont have clear Idea.

    thanks & Regards,

    Amith Prasanna.

    RE: IP Address Network Adapter

    Thank you for your reply,

I have the demo Virtual machine image Dynamics AX 2012 r3 from Microsoft.

Settings of the network adapter are not set.

i'll set them like settings in Dynamics AX 2012 R2 VM image(community.dynamics.com/.../how-to-run-ax-2012-r2-image-on-virtualbox.aspx) or it has her own settings?

    Thank you again

    Hi Borjus,

Can you tell about your intentions? Are you running the VM on Azure or hosted on own machines?

you don't need any special configuration , other wise you have another VM's or you wanted to access that VM via Remote desktop.First of all you have to Configure Hyper V

Virtual Switch then Shutdown the VM then add Network adaptor to VM , then MAP Virtual Switch to Physical Network Adapter .Assigning IP Address depend on your environment . can you explain what is your requirement then it is easy to assist you .

    Regards,

    Amith Prasanna
