Batch job to start production operation

Hi all,

There is a requirement to have the production picking lists dated using the scheduled date, instead of when the picking lists are created date.

So my settings are as follow:

-Link the product's BOM version line with the Operation number.

-Set the Start option to create Picking list

After the Production order is scheduled,  the Route form will give me a scheduled start date for each operation. I can then individually start the operation via the Current operation menu (Production control/Operations/Current operations) and change the Start date manually to the scheduled start date. This works well, unfortunately for real live it won't work as it will be time consuming for the user to manually update the start date and then start the operation.

I have tried, using the batch job with late selection and selection filter like this:

Production orders > Status > Created .. Started

Production route> Operation number> 10

The batch job however started all the operations.

Did I miss something here?

Thanks

Could you print the picking lists when releasing the production order and postpone that to the day when you need to start it? Because then you could use the batch job to trigger the release instead of operation start...

Hi Fredrik, thank you for the response.

Sorry not too clear here, are you referring to the Release process on the Production order?

I don't think there is an option to create picking list when you Release the production order.
