How do I send an interoffice message to appear on the screen of a fellow colleague.

Hi ,
I think for interoffice communication you can use Notes features.
The Note Feature is available in NAV 2009 and onwards.
You can append notes to the documents in NAV and assign the username whom you want to notify.
