Change Status of All Open Phone Calls

I am using CRM 3.0.  When my CRM tech imported all the activities from my Access Database to CRM, they when in as open activities.  Now he is gone and I need to figure out how to change the status of all 7000 phone calls to completed.  I have attempted to do various workflow processes, but fail to find an event to trigger the process.  

 Thanks in advance for any ideas on how to resolve this issue!

    Thanks for the suggestion, but already I set up a manual workflow: if status is open change status to completed, but I am not given the option to apply a rule to phone calls.  I checked my permissions and I have access to everything as far as I can tell.  Any ideas?

    Hi Twinter, you have a couple of options:

    1. Manually complete each activity (ouch!)
    2. Programatically update the state of each activity to Complete. If you have direct access to your CRM database, you could write a SQL script to update the statecode attribute of your imported phone calls.
    3. Use a third-party tool to close a bunch of activities (try this one: http://www.dynamics-pros.com/Products/ActivitiesMassUpdate/tabid/95/Default.aspx, although I'm not sure if a CRM3 version is available.)
