CRM Online/OneDrive Integration

One of our customers has asked to set up OneDrive integration with CRM.  I'll admit, I know very little about OneDrive but I figured it couldn't be that difficult.  Now, I am so confused!

Can we integrate with an existing OneDrive site, or does the integration create a new OneDrive site?  The customer uses OneDrive for lots of stuff, and would like to integrate that existing site to CRM.  But it looks to me like CRM is setting up a new "CRM" folder in an existing SharePoint site.  There is one default SP site loaded in CRM as a SP site, but I do not have any active SP document locations.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

    RE: CRM Online/OneDrive Integration

There are two types of integration - SharePoint and OneDrive.

SharePoint integration creates documentlocations that can point to automatically created folders in special document libraries created for each entity, or you can manually associate them with existing folders for a specific record - See develop1.net/.../CRM-2011-Document-Management.aspx and develop1.net/.../SharePoint-Integration-Reloaded-Part-1.aspx

The One Drive *for Business* (it's different to OneDrive) integration is very similar except unlike SharePoint the documents are priviate to the user until shared with others. See www.microsoft.com/.../use-onedrive-for-business-to-manage-your-private-documents.aspx
