In GP 2010, I granted a user access to Report Writer and she can successfully edit reports and change restrictions in Report Writer. I have granted her access to each Custom Report under the Security Tasks window. However, when she tries to print a report from Report Writer she gets a "Table Security Violation" error.
The strange thing is this user is able to print this customized report directly through GP w/ no errors by going to Reports > Customized.
This report uses the Year-to-Date Transaction Open and Account Master table. This user has access to the Account Maintenance window and the Detail Inquiry window so I am assuming the user has access to both of these tables.
What additional permissions do I need to grant this user so she can print modified reports directly from report writer?
Thanks.

I have the same question (0)Hi Greg,
That type of message is usually coming from the SQL server side... When the user is in RW, she does not use the GP security in Edit Mode and therefore may need different local security on the server side to test the reports. Bear in mind that in RW Edit mode, you wont necessarly print the data you're looking for, since most reports are parameter driven and you can't do that in RW. You may only be ableto test the layout of the report, but you still need to have access to the tables, because RW validates the data source. Some reports will print the last data entry from the table that is related, some will just be empty.
