Help! I put everything on sale

I was trying to clean up what showed as being on sale using the price wizard. Unfortunately, I ended up marking everything as on sale. The date of the "sale" expired but, the items still claim to be on sale. The funny thing is that the regular price of the item is listed as the sale price.

I just need to run a script to de-select the box that says "this item is on sale." I've done this type of thing before, but I don't know how to write the script and I don't want to mess it all up.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

    Hi Meralee,

    Do not panic,

1- first make a backup of your database

2- Try this sql statment,( I suppose that you know how to run sql query in RMS administrator ):

    Update item

    set saletype = 0

    where ( your condition like lastsold < '04-05-2011' )

note: you can omit the third line if you want all items in inventory to uncheck 'onSale'

    3- check your items

hope this is helpfull for you
