Hi,

I want to add financial dimension values (business unit , cost centre, etc) in columns in a grid in WBS, which later will be exported too.

Is it possible to add Financial dimensions like this for each line in the below format . And how ?

    Hi Priya,

There is an option to get the individual dimensions in the grid or on a separate fast tab below the grid. An example for dimension in the grid can be found when you open the trial balance form. For an example to show dimensions below the grid on a fast tab, you can open e.g. the sales order form. By reverse engineering how Microsoft did this, you would be able to apply this on your custom form.

    Hi Girish,

    Thanks for the suggestion.

Actually there is a change in requirement now. I want financial dimensions to be added below the grid and fetch default values from project . Is it possible to do it this way for every line ?

No adding fast tab won't work. You need to add a menu item button on the action pane. From your screenshot on work breakdown structure, it would be next to "Resource" button.

    Unfortunately, there is no references.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

    Hi Priya Dutta,

I guess you cannot add the dimension on the line level. Instead, you can create a new button on the top and map the form which will have all financial dimension values.

User can click on that control and enter financial dimension values against that line.

Refer to the below form for adding financial dimension control on the form.
