Help! I broke my report

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I was modifying a POP Purchase Order report in Report Writer, and accidentally deleted the calculated field nCurrencyIndex. When I went to view the report, I got the error: Error in equation 'nLastCurrencyIndex'. I put the calculated field back into the report footer where I had deleted it from, but I am still getting the same error. What can I do to fix this?

    Hi

Another import will indeed override the work you have done. Here's what my POP Purchase Order Blank Form looks like

    Kind regards,

I managed to use the other form for POP Purchase orders to find the nLastCurrencyIndex equation and re-create that related calculated field (which was now empty on my report).  But NOW my problem is the comments are not displaying properly, but I haven't even touched them! Any idea on how the lines of comment are sorted? Mine are printing line 3, line 2, line 1, line 4...

If I import another report, won't that over-ride the work I have done?

If you have this report heavily modified and you don't want to override your work, you can import report from other machine.
