We have a custom entity opportunity line item entity and have enabled editable grids on it. The editable feature works on the sub-grid ie. Opportunity->Opportunity line item but does not work on the home grid for opportunity lines. Is this feature not available for custom entities?

Hello
Tenfold just recently added MS office 365 to their integrations list. Tenfold offers features such as click to dial, automatic call logging, easy note taking and task creation, screen pops on inbound and outbound calls, new lead/contact creation when no matching records, support for cases/opportunities and advanced analytics on the backend. They also support MS Dynamics integration.
Hi,
Sorry for using this thread for my question.
I can't find where I can set next :Enabling or disabling of cells based on security role
In every article about Enabled Grid I can read that possible to restrict access for update based on security role, but no details about it. Looks like people just copy-paste from article to article.
Any idea how to do it?
In fact in our case the subgrid based on the child entity seems to work fine wrt editable grids on the parent form. The issue we are seeing is with the main grid based on that child entity.
This makes no sense. Are you saying... If I have two custom entities (ie one a parent entity called 'Order' and the other a "child" entity called 'OrderLineItem') then I can't use the editable grid as a subgrid for the child records (in this case 'OrderLineItem')? Is that what you are saying. The only relationship defined is a '1 to N' from Order to OrderLineItem. This is the most common relationship (ie 'parent to child') that we all use in CRM/xRM. I need to be able to edit the "child" records on my 'parent' form.
The behavior seems to be erratic. On refreshing the browser some of the views based on this entity that was not editable becomes editable. Any idea why?
Child Entities are not supported may be thats why, read here:
What are child & parent entities:technet.microsoft.com/.../dn531171.aspx
Child Entities rae not supported, here: msdn.microsoft.com/.../mt788312.aspx
