Reference JSON config file in Rich Text Editor control

What is the correct relative URL to reference the config JSON? I can make it work using "WebResource" in the URL, but Microsoft is discouraging usage of WebRousource in the URL (Web Resources (model-driven apps) - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs).

Do not use a relative URL using the WebResources folder as the root path for the URL. For example, do not use this: /WebResources/<name of web resource>

How do I do it without WebResource?

    Hello,

Sometimes Microsoft's documentation is controversial. I don't see the other way in order to give the proper path to the config webresource in your case so I would recommend using "WebResources" in the configuration.

    Hello Andrew,

Thank you for this reply. I spent two hours trying to find the right Path. I stop my investigation :)

Yes - use a Web Resource as per Item 2 in following here docs.microsoft.com/.../rich-text-editor-control

I haven't tried it but possibly the Web Resource directive may work and avoid the relative path (usually used for Ribbon and Sitemap) docs.microsoft.com/.../web-resources

    $webresource:<name of Web Resource>

Just tried it - unfortunately it did not replace the directive with the path
