Batch Posting and Check Printing - Gp 2013 R2

Most of the times; our batches either take long tome or won't post and we have to go and recover them from batch recovery. Sometimes we get an error "glpPostBatch. Select on Batch_Headers failed" along with "The stored procedure glpPostBatch returned the following results: DBMS: 0, Great Plains: 20286"

I have checked SY00500 and did not find this transaction anymore which makes me think it is posted now.

What do I need to do avoid getting this error?

Run the SQL Maintenance option, locate the Batch Header tables and drop and recreate the table auto procedures.

If that doesn't solve your issues try checking for some corrupted modified files in your dictionary.

NB: Take a backup of the databases before performing the above.
