Unable to find ledger transaction for reversal. Verify that a ledger transaction exists for the cash account or bridging account

Hi,

I am trying to cancel Customer payment but facing following error.

Unable to find ledger transaction for reversal. Verify that a ledger transaction exists for the cash account or bridging account.

This error is appearing when I am trying to cancel  Customer payment which are in Two different currencies having exchange rate greater than 1.

    Can you describe the steps you do when you talk about "cancel  Customer payment"?

    Hi Andre.

    I performed following steps

    Account receivable>All customers>Customer transaction

    I selected one the transaction having type  "payment"

    Then clicked on "cancel payment button"

    selected the "reason code"

    then clicked Ok

    Hi Qadeer,

    I don't have an AX 2012 environment at this moment to verify the same. Have you checked LCS Issue Search for possible known issues?

    Is the cancel payment working correctly in case the currency is the same?
