Reusing sub reports

I have created a sub report which is a one page summary of an opportunity.  This sub report is then included in a few other reports which all have a slightly different selection criteria.  These all work fine from BI studio but when I upload to Dynamics only one of the reports will work.

It appears that I cannot upload these to Dynamics Crm 4.0 in my preferred format as each sub report is only allowed one parent.

Is it not possible to reuse a subreport in multiple reports?

    I have had no luck getting subreports to work with several parent reports.

    After much head scratching, it turns out that this is relatively easy to resolve.

    1) Use BIDS or Report Builder to develop the subreports.

    2) Create a new folder on the SSRS report server used by CRM. Call it somthing like "Subreports".

    3) Create your parent report and when you embed the subreport in your parent report, point to the report server folder  /<folder>/<subreport> in the properties of the subreport.

    4) Deploy the parent (and ONLY the parent) report to CRM as usual.

    5) Repeat steps3 & 4 in each parent report as often as you need to reuse the subreport.
