How to Create Desktop .AXC file for Dynamics AX 2012

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone tell me how i can create a shortcut or .axc icon on a client remote desktop?

I am pretty green and have to create one for our PROD and STAGE environment but cannot find anything on how to do that.

PLEASE HELP!

    AX takes command-line parameters, where you may add additional settings, including the AX configuration file.

    You could create a shortcut for your Ax32.exe file, then in the properties of the shortcut just list the full path to the AXC, and add additional command-line arguments with a dash, listed here:

    I.e. you can connect to the Development client directly, switch to specific company accounts with different shortcuts, connect using a specific layer, etc.
