Hi Joannis,
In Dynamics Marketing, there are two different type of data:
Profile data:
It is stored in the organizational database and includes the entities and records that you see, edit, and create when working directly in Dynamics 365 Marketing.
These include common entities like contacts, accounts, leads, events, customer journeys, and more.
Interaction data:
It is stored in the marketing-insights service database and includes information about how your contacts interacted with your marketing initiatives, including email opens, email clicks, event registrations, page submissions, and more.
You can see this type of information when you look at the insights built into Dynamics 365 Marketing, but you can't create these records nor view them directly.
The following article listed insights data:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/insights-glossary
In summary, records that we can directly create or edit can be regarded as profile data.
---------------------------------------
Therefore, the examples you given: segments by owner - emails by owner, actually they are profile data instead of insights data,
we can create chart to aggregate those data, then add it to existing dashboards or custom dashboard.
Please refer to the article below to know how to work with chart and how to create or edit dashboard:
