Search Entity Lists From Global Search

Hi all,

I have a series of Entity Lists scattered across my site. I want to search all of them either name or content from the global search located in the header.

Is this possible, how is it done?

    Hi folks,

    It appears that custom entity lists cannot be searched from the global navigation as seen in another forum post. Does anyone have a workaround?

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, only below entities can be configured for portal global search-

    • Knowledge Article
      • Notes and attachment of a knowledge article are searchable as well. 
      • Articles are searchable only if they are published and their Internal Only field is set to false.
    • Blog
    • Blog Post
    • Blog Post Comment
    • Forum
    • Forum Post
    • Forum Thread
    • Idea
    • Idea Comment
    • Idea Forum
    • Web File
      • Attachment content of web files is searchable as well. 
    • Web Page
    • Incident

    I assume you are talking about searching the entity list data, even though we can't do it in global search but we can create a web page and expose entity lists which would give us the capability to search them all.
