Error message when exporting accounts to excel "Does not support untyped value in non-open type"

Hello,

A user gets the following error message below when marking a bunch of account records in an account view and choosing to export them to excel.

Me (system administrator) and a few other colleagues cannot recreate this error.

Some googling returns that most commonly developers get this error when misspelling a parameter name but this is not the case now. This should be, apparently, standard functionality..

Any suggestions of what to do or check are welcome!

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query:

To narrow down the problem, can you please try following:

    • Use the same view (the user gets error on) to export data an monitor if you see any issues.
    • Use the same view and records to see if you can re-produce this error.
    • Try changing user's security role (temporarily) to see if it works.
    • Do you have field security enabled on any of the fields in the view?
    • See if you have any plugin that executes on RetreiveMultiple of Account.

    Hello,

We have a test user which we use to log in and simulate other users by setting same settings as other users.

We have set the same secruity roles and teams on our user as the "real" user.

    - Same view

    - Same records

    - No field security

    - No plugin on RetrieveMultiple.

With our user we can export all records successfully. It is only this user that reports this problem and there are other users with the sames roles and Business Unit as this user and they experience no problems..

    Weird..
