"createdDateTime" field doesn't exist in the "InventTable" of AOT

Hi everyone,

I have a problem in the AOT which is,  I can't find the "createdDateTime" field in the "InventTable". It exists in AX forms and also contains data, but is not found in AOT invenTable.

Can anyone help why this is happening and how can I solve it?

Thanks in advance

createdDateTime is a system field that is activated by the property "CreatedDateTime" on the table node. System fields are never shown in the list of fields under the Fields node of a table. As far as I know there is no way to make it show up in that list or to change properties of system fields.

    Hi,

This field will be enabled if you set the property CreatedDateTime to Yes on the InventTable in the Tables node of the AOT. Note this is a small customization; it changes the standard object.

    Many thanks for your reply.

What I want to do is to create a report and add a field in it referencing the CreateDateTime field of the inventTable. Can you help me how to add this field to a query?

    Thanks & Best Regards

Instead of dragging&dropping a field from a table into a query, you can right click the field node in a query data source and choose "New > Field". In the field property, enter the name of the field (e.g. createdDateTime). This way you can also add system fields. In AX 2012 you can also set the "Dynamic" property of the field node of the query datasource to "Yes", this will automatically add all fields including the system fields.
