CRM 2016 plugin code bebug issue

hi i have a plugin that has been published and it runs fine. however when i try to debug it doesnt hit the red dot( dot is red without any error or symbols).

I tried adding exceptionthrow and the exception is hit and seems like the code is running but not debugging.

i tried all possible things i found on internet.

i created a console and the debugger gets hit.

i deployed from debug folder and pdb is included

i attached w3wp and srmasync processes

2016 on prem crm version and VS 2017 latest update applied.

any help is much appreciated. thanks.

The error i get trying the registration tool debugging is below. i tried restartind sandbox service and also checked to see if isolation mode is not None, it is None and i am stuck.

I have tried IISreset lots of times and no result. what else can be the problem? it seems a small issue but stuck because of it.

Hi,

Try to reset IIS, sometime in on premise deployment it helps, otherwise you can try to debug using plugin registration tool, check steps here: http://himbap.com/blog/?p=2469
