Selecting a record from the Advanced View Page

It seems there is a bug when selecting a record from the Advanced View. For example, when I am on a sales quote line, I want to find an item by filtering on fields that are not in the inital drop down list. Therefore I need to click first on 'Select from full list', then click on 'Advanced View' so that I can use the Search function to find records with Vendor No. = 20000.

From here the Advanced View page filters correctly for all items with Vendor No. = 20000, however when I select an item from the list so that it can be added to the Sales Quote Line, the system picks the first item record and not the one I selected.
