Hi,

The requirement:

I want to create a new report which would generate an excel format but this report I want it based on an .xls template .How can this be achieved?

Right now you would have to consider there are specific reports doing this - sort of. Check the accountant profile or business manager. Those reports have macros running most of the show.

Jet reports is currently the easiest option here. Worth checking if this is on the D365 ideas site. I’d log it if not.

I have generated an excel report by using the Excel Buffer and taking reference from the Accounts payable module. Now I was Thinking if we could make it template based
