GP2015 R2 - Self Service user and reset password

Hi,

We are starting to test Self Service users in GP2015 R2 and we noticed a weird behaviour.

A Self Service user cannot change his own password because the "User Preferences" window is not available. I'm assuming it's because the window isn't classified as a Self Service window.

Has anyone else noticed this behaviour? Is there a workaround?

    Since self service user would probably be using their domain account (using webclient), would they not be able to reset their password using the standard windows password change process?

    In our case they are still using the GP client application. Windows authentication is not permitted at this time for the client application. We are still using SQL Authentication for GP.
