Invoice a customer - Investment project

Hi All, 

A external customer is obligated to share a certain cost with us.  Is there a way that I can invoice the external customer from the investment project?  I understand that there is no option to do invoice proposal in the investment project or is there?  If not, is there a work around?

    Hello Kim,

    A feasible workaround would be setting up a T&M subproject, transferring the costs you want to charge to the external party and then creating an invoice from the subproject.
