E-Store Integration Support?

Hello:

Our company is currently running Great Plains 8.2 and is considering upgrading. At the same time, I am looking for an e-store hosted service (such as Volusion) or software that will integrate with GP 8.2 or 10 if we upgrade.

Is there a list of packages that integrate well? The presale support chat couldn't tell me. Is there someone here who can point me toward solutions that have been proven to work?

    Hi David,

    You may want to check the Dynamics Marketplace: dynamics.pinpoint.microsoft.com/.../Default.aspx. This has a listing of all Partner solutions that are Certified for Microsoft Dynamics. There are many good solutions that are designed to integrate with Microsoft Dynamics GP; however, the CfMD stamp assures that the solution has been thoroughly tested and certified to meet Microsoft's highest standards, and is built and supported by partners committed to quality.

    I'm not sure of your specific needs, but here is a query for GP and E-commerce: http://dynamics-erp.pinpoint.microsoft.com/en-US/applications/search/d5/internet-e-commerce-b200032?q=. Of course, I'd recommend that you look around and do more searching on your own.

    I was hoping to find a hosted e-commerce storefront solution (Volusion, et al) that knows how to share information with GP10. You'd think these options would be fairly common.

    It will be difficult to find something that is compatable with an unsupported version of GP(8.2). I would highly recommend upgrading to GP 2010 and then housing the e-commerce solution in house. Nodus hasa a very nice estore platform compatible with GP 2010 and it is very easy to setup.  If you still want the e-commerce solution hosted Boomi provides links to GP so you can put up whatever application you want and then use Boomi to pull the data into GP. You jusst need to make sure that Boomi can read the data from your hosted e-commerce solution.

    David have you had any luck in your quest?  We are using GP 10 and soon upgrading to GP 2010 and have been evaluating platforms. I have only looked at a couple of hosted solutions, K-Ecommerce and Kalio, but I'll look into Volusion as well. We are also looking at fully licensed platforms like Azox and Nodus and Keyora, though we wouldn't host in house (our Internet service locally is not dependable enough to run a web store).  There are several dozen to choose from that have built in integration. I would love to share notes if you are also interviewing platform providers.
