Posted on by 295

Hello Everyone !

Hope this all of you are well. I want to create SSRS reports for dynamics 365 online. I am trying to install "Microsoft Dynamics 365 Report Authoring Extension" but error comes that "some of the required are missing".

I do not know which components i am missing. I have not any SQL server management studio installed but i have following setup

Visual Studio 2017 community version

Windows 10

SSDT (SQL Server Data Tools)

Kindly tell me which components i require to install this. I have already visited

docs.microsoft.com/.../hh699754(v=crm.8)

but cannot get requirements for VS 2017.

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?

SSRS report extension required report server.

Report server is part of SQL. Hence you must have Report server to install SSRS extension.

    Hi

Please see below for supported Visual Studio version and other requirement. You will have to use VS 2015, VS 2017 is not yet officially supported by this extension
