    Hi Javier,

I don't think exporting the database log is a good practice anyway, if there is other way out you can try these 2 options :

    1. Consider refreshing your sandbox from Prod (say once a month) and access SysDatabaseLog table to make an audit report. You need to make sure you can format the data properly from "NewData" field.
    2. You can run the Database log report and set the destination to file > Microsoft Excel. Remember to include only specific records based on Table Id and Log type.

    Hi Javier,

Like mentioned above, there is no entity and it would be cumbersome to achieve one. What would be wrong by reviewing the changes regularly within the client?

    Hi Javier,

Both DMF and Odata all depend on data entity, there is no the OOB entity to export the data, you need to custom it.

Hi Mattguo I need export the data for this reason:

Users would like to audit who changed specific fields.  The area of logging would first be limited to PO Headers, PO Lines, and Trade Agreement Headers.

I would like to know if we can export the data by DMF or Odata, but I don't found any enityt in both cases.

    Thanks

    Javier

RE: Can I export SysDatabaseLog table

    Hi Javier,

Out of the box there is no support for this. What is the purpose of exporting it? Note that the old and new data details is stored in container fields. It should be extracted per record which will be a huge performance load. Per table the fields are different. How do you envision to have different data logs for different tables exported?

Can you explain the business purpose/requirement?

    Hello Javier,

If you need to export Sysdatabaselog table as csv, can you access the data in Sql query and save it as the csv format?

Or do you mean the database log in the path System administration > Inquiries > Database > Database Log?
