How to rollout Target field in Goal for Team Lead

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Dear all,

I wonder if there is a function that allow me to rollup the Goal - Target amount for the Team Lead / Country Head etc.  If I have a team manager (TM) with 2 sub-ordinate teammates (Sales A, B), how can I rollup the Target amount for TM instead of manual input. Here is the illustration for your easier understanding

For example, I have set up following:

For Team Manager,

  • Goal Name = TM-HK
  • Parent Goal = n/a
  • Goal Metric = Invoice Amount
  • Goal Owner = TM
  • Manager = TM
  • Time = 1 year
  • Target = 100 (expect to rollup by system (system calculate by Sales A + B target amount instead of input by System Admin)

For Sales A & B,

  • Parent Goal = TM-HK
  • Goal Metric = Invoice Amount
  • Goal Owner = Sales A / B
  • Manager = TM
  • Time = 1 year
  • Target = 50

You should define parent/child goals, like described here:
