Hello Experts,

Is it possible to have the work orders in a single wave arranged alphabetically by picking locations rather than the work number id?

Thanks!

    Hello Mariano,

Thank you for your reply. I actually have that sorting by location setup already, and it does work if we only have one sales/transfer order on the wave. The problem comes when there are multiple orders on the wave. It gives the alphabetical order by location for each order lines then jumps to the next order. What I am looking for is arranging it by location as a whole regardless if it is for different order.

    Hi Ms Burog!

If you are refering to ordering the picking work in sorted locations, you can go to the work template, and in the edit query button, add a sorting field by location.

This is possible but, a better practice will be, to use the sorting code of the locations.
You could arrange locations in a warehouse by sorting code, and in the edit querry option of the work templates form, you could sort by sorting code as well.

First go to the warehouse management > warehouse > locations form, and order locations by sorting code (By default is 0):
Once there, you can go to the work templates, and select the template of your chouce, and then in the edit query button sort by sorting code:

    Hope this helps.
