Is it possible to create finance charge memo with a fix amount (instead of a interest %)

When a sales invoice is overdue, instead of creating a finance charge memo based on a percentage, we would like to charge a fix amount of 20$ per month.

I've tried to create a finance Charge term where interest rate is "0" and additional fee is "20$"

But when I run the process to create finance charge memo, it didn't create any finance charge memo. This only works when I set an interest rate.

Any ideas ?

I don't think that is possible without any customization, the additional Fee is added on top of the Amount.

Try to create a Finance Charge Memo manually by selecting the customer and entering the $20 charge. If manual creation is not feasible, customization is needed to modify the Finance Charge Memo logic to allow fixed amounts without requiring an interest rate.
