Are there any laboratory information management system solutions that can be created with MS Dynamics CRM? 

Are there Microsoft based LIMS?  Where would I find them? 

Has anyone tried to make a LIMS with MS Dynamics CRM?

    While I haven't done this myself, CRM may be a good tool to investigate due to its relationship nature and ability to track the patient, clinic, insurance company and other relationships.  The service module within CRM could be explored for the handling, scheduling/capacity issues related to the lab work.  It would certainly be interesting to explore the possibilities.  Before getting to far into it, I would certainly look into the integration between CRM and what I'm assuming will be GP at the point of maintaining all aspects that will need to flow through both systems as this could potentially be the biggest unknown with what will need to be integrated.  With the customization features in CRM, this would be a fun project.
