Prevent Delete of content blocks

I have a request that we want to prevent delete of certain parts of a template.

For instance, we need to ensure conditions and notices are kept within the template.

I know we can lock the content block, prevent editing of the info in the template, but can not prevent deletion of the content block itself from within the template as far as I know.

    Hi Carl,

    I am afraid that currently the functionality is not available: because user is supposed to can edit any content in designer.

    However, if you refer to prevent delete of content block records, then you could set privilege on Content Block entity of some users to basic level, then they can only delete content blocks created by their own, or only allowing users to edit their own template.

    Thank you for your response. We have restricted deletion of the blocks themselves, but like you say we cant not restrict their deletion in the content designer.

    WIll have to raise a user voice
