Service Activity - Send Direct Email

In the Service Activity, the "Send Direct Email" button's tooltip says it will send an email "to the people scheduled to complete this service activity." 

Obviously this means that it should send a message to the Resources on the Service Activity.  However, it actually sends the email to the Customer. 

Anyone know how to make this work properly?

    Thanks for the link Sandeep.  The link demonstrates in general how to send the emails using a Send Direct Email button by selecting specific recipients in a grid containing email-enabled records (such as contacts).  

    However, it does not address the Service Activity:  in this there is no sub-grid, just the form controls for the Customer and the Resources, and the button sends the message to the Customer rather than the Resources, even though the tooltip explicitly states that it will send a message to the people scheduled to perform the service (which means resources, not customers).

    Perhaps it just does not work right and the Microsoft team has abandoned the customer service module in favor of the expensive new "field service" add-on.  If this is the case it is very disappointing.
